TRACK 1 · FOUNDATIONS

Learn to See. Learn to Think. Learn to Grow.

A 14-week one-on-one mentorship for photographers who are ready for more than a class.

Is this you?
  • You own a camera and shoot regularly, but feel stuck or uncertain
  • You want to understand why your images look the way they do
  • You take photos for joy and personal growth — and want to get better
  • You're ready to shoot between sessions and put in the work
  • You want honest, direct feedback — not just praise

This is NOT for you if...

  • You expect Kevin to teach basic camera operation from scratch
  • You want someone to just tell you what to shoot
  • You're not willing to shoot and submit work between sessions
  • You need a photography class — this is a mentorship, not a course
What you will gain over 14 weeks

The ability to critique your own work

No more guessing. You'll know exactly why an image works — and why it doesn't.

A clearer, more intentional eye

You'll start seeing light, composition, and story differently every time you pick up your camera.

Honest, structured feedback

Real feedback that names the one thing holding your work back — and exactly what to try next.

Custom exercises designed for you

Between sessions, Kevin assigns targeted exercises specific to your growth areas.

How it works

Phase 1 — WEEK 1 · DIAGNOSTIC

Diagnostic

Kevin reviews a selection of your existing work. Together you discuss your strengths, identify gaps, and agree on focus areas for the semester.

Phase 2 — WEEKS 2–6 · SKILL BUILDING

Skill building

Bi-weekly sessions with structured critique. Kevin assigns a targeted exercise between each session. You shoot, reflect, and submit work before you return.

Phase 3 — WEEK 7 · THE DIP

The dip

Almost every creative person hits a wall here. It's normal — and it means your eye is growing faster than your execution. Kevin helps you push through it.

Phase 4 — WEEKS 8–12 · REFINEMENT

Refinement

Your work starts to cohere. Sessions continue bi-weekly with deeper critique and increasingly independent creative decision-making from you.

Phase 5 — WEEK 14 · FINAL PROJECT REVIEW

Final project review

A structured 60-minute closing session. You walk Kevin through your best work from the semester. Kevin delivers a written final review document you keep.
